A full-length single-edged blade in a brass-banded rosewood scabbard.
The long blade of the Visayas: a slim, slightly curved single edge drawn out from one bar of spring steel, with the forge pattern still visible along the flats. The faceted horn grip is carved to the hand and finished with a brass collar.
The scabbard is rosewood, carved in two halves, bound with brass bands and finished with a brass throat and chape. It is the piece in the photograph of the proprietor on this site, and the one most often ordered for a wall.
