Terms of sale

The terms, plainly.

These terms apply to every order placed through this website or by message with Bohol Blades (“we”, “us”), of Sikatuna, Bohol, Philippines.

1. Made to order

All blades are made to order. Product photographs show representative pieces; your blade will differ in the grain of the horn and wood, hammer marks and hand-struck stamp.

2. Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars and exclude shipping, import duties and taxes at destination. A 50% deposit is taken at checkout through Stripe; the balance is invoiced when your blade is finished and must be paid before dispatch. Prices may change; the price at the time of your deposit is the price you pay.

3. Lead time

Lead times are estimates. We will inform you of any significant delay. A delay does not by itself entitle you to cancel once forging has begun.

4. Cancellation and refunds

As set out in returns & repairs. Deposits are refundable before forging begins, less card processing fees, and not thereafter.

5. Import compliance

You confirm that the blade you order may lawfully be imported into and possessed at the shipping address, and that you are of legal age to buy it. Blades seized at customs for prohibitions the buyer could have checked are not refundable.

6. Intended use

Our blades are tools and collectors’ pieces. You accept full responsibility for their safe handling, storage and use.

7. Warranty

We warrant our blades against defects in materials and workmanship as described in returns & repairs. This does not cover misuse, neglect, modification or normal wear.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law our liability is limited to the price paid for the blade.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
