An 18-inch pinuti with a brass handguard, carved horn grip and a brass-banded tindalo scabbard.
The longest blade in the collection and the most dressed. Eighteen inches of spring steel with a smooth finish, a brass handguard, and a carabao horn handle cut with Vestorio carving so the grip holds when the hand is wet. A copper collar seats the horn against the blade.
The scabbard is tindalo rosewood bound with brass bands and capped in brass at the throat and the tip. It is named for Francisco Dagohoy, who led Bohol’s long revolt against Spanish rule in the eighteenth century.
