In the hand

Designed to the specifications of chef and food writer Angelo Comsti.

A long chef's knife with a flat forge-black face and a polished edge bevel, made first for Angelo Comsti and named after him in the shop's tradition: whoever commissions the first one, the knife carries their name.

The spine is tall for knuckle clearance, the edge runs straight for most of its length and sweeps up at the tip for rocking cuts. The horn handle is oval in section and sits slightly tail-heavy, so the knife wants to stay on the board.

Made for
The one knife on the board for a serious home cook or a working line.
